Ever since Ben Bogart start TangoJam back in 2005 as an educational resource for aspiring tango musicians he as been dedicated to bridging the gap between Buenos Aires and the rest of the world.

The lifecycle of came to an end in 2018 and as president of Tanguero Inc, Ben is now pushing for new ways to distribute fully licensed music to the tango community in a way that benefits students and creators.

Cuarteto Tanguero

Cuarteto Tanguero’s album Guapeando debuted at number 8 on the Billboard world music charts in 2018. The ensemble performs and teaches argentine tango internationally and has performed and taught workshops at Indiana University and the Tainwan National University of the Arts.

In 2014 the group started the Tanguero Workshop for musicians at Indiana University Jacobs school of music to help aspiring tango musicians learn about Argentine Tango performance practice.  The Tanguero Workshop now happens every year at St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN.
